Unmistakable light colour, very sweet pulp, thin and almost woody skin, high content of essential oils: all these things set this variety apart, special but late to grow as it offers its fruits in the spring and not in the winter months as is the case for other varieties.
Rich in vitamins, minerals, bioflavonoids and antioxidant polyphenols and essential for our well-being, it features a sweet flavour which is however balanced by a minimum level of acidity, a combination that makes this fruit particularly precious.
Turned into marmalade and with the addition of a few ingredients, it can be enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack at any time of the day, fully enjoying its benefits thanks to the high fruit content.
